Logitech M187 Wireless Mouse Review
The Logitech M187 Wireless Mouse is designed for the road warrior in mind. You can pretty much take this little device with you wherever you go and it works with pretty much any desktop, laptop or tablet that has a USB port. The mouse comes with a miniature nano receiver that plugs right into the USB port of your computer and when used for the first time, the drivers are automatically loaded and you can literally start using your mouse in mere seconds.
The wireless technology used by the mouse uses the 2.4 GHz band so you can rest assured that the connection is strong and has a very good range as well. A lot of research also went into the design of the mouse itself. I was surprised that for such a small mouse I had no trouble using it for long periods of time with my large man hands. This mouse is so small that you can conveniently fit it in your tablet sleeve, trouser pocket or handbag.
Seeing that the little USB nano receiver is so small it can be easily lost or misplaced. Logitech in their infinite wisdom created a small storage port inside the mini mouse itself where you can store the nano receiver when the mouse is not in use. Cool.
The mouse is powered by a single AAA battery and a battery does come preinstalled with the mouse at the time of purchase. For you fashion conscious folks out there, the mouse also comes in three colors; namely red, blue and black. The Logitech M187 wireless mini mouse also comes with a 3 year warranty and is compatible with various operating systems that exist on a device with a free USB port:

The Logitech M187 Mini Mouse weighs a mere 1.8 grams, has three (3) buttons, uses advanced optical tracking sensor technology and has roughly 6 months of battery life based on basic use. Obviously if the mouse is used a lot, then the battery life will be shorter.
I have personally used the little device with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Windows tablet and I must say that I am impressed with how well this mouse functions. I have also dropped it by accident on carpet a couple of times – which I strongly recommend that you do not do – and it still works flawlessly. I was a little wary that I may easily lose the nano receiver but when I learned of the fact that the mouse has a little storage hole for the receiver inside of the mouse itself I was surprised indeed. This was definitely a great investment and I strongly recommend it for you fellow road warriors and bloggers out there!
