The Keys To Go Wireless Keyboard is a neat little accessory designed and manufactured by Logitech that can be used with Apple devices like the iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone and even Apple TV. It has a surface area roughly the same size as a box of tissues and weighs about as much as a mini booklet.
When you open the box you are greeted with a Keys To Go keyboard, a white USB charging cable and twp pieces of paper: one being a simple set of setup instructions showing how to charge the keyboard and establish a Bluetooth connection with your Apple device while the other contains the warranty information.
The Keys To Go Wireless Keyboard is also waterproof so you do not have to get a heart attack when you spill your favorite cup of coffee on it while typing your blog of the day. The keyboard also comes in a variety of vibrant colors.
The keys themselves are well spaced apart which gives you a very realistic typing experience when on the go. The keys themselves are made up of some type of membrane which makes the sounds of keystrokes very quiet indeed which makes this a great accessory that can be used in quiet settings like libraries and study halls.
Although the keys are made up of this membrane you can still tell when you have pressed down successfully on the keys when you are typing. Normally the advantages of using a mechanical keyboard is the fact that you know when a key has been depressed because you can hear the clicking sound and you can also feel when the keys have made contact with the plane of the keyboard. So kudos go out to the designers at Logitech who were able to simulate the experience of feeling the click of the keys when they are pressed without the need of creating any loud clicking sounds that one would normally hear when using a conventional mechanical keyboard.
The Keys To Go Wireless Keyboard is also very ridged so you can easily rest it on your lap and type comfortably without any fear of it bending.
On the top right hand side of the keyboard you will find the power switch which has a green and red color code that indicates whether the device is on or off. There is also a mini USB port used to charge the built in 3 month rechargeable battery.
Since this keyboard is designed specifically for Apple devices you will find all of the Apple shortcut keys that you would normally find on a typical Apple keyboard.
When pairing the keys to go wireless keyboard there is a Bluetooth labelled key located on the top right hand side of the keyboard that you simply press down for a couple of seconds until the little LED light (which is also on the top right hand side of the keyboard) that will begin to flash blue meaning that it is looking for a device to pair to. The next step would be to simply enable the Bluetooth radio on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV to complete the wireless connection between keyboard and device and that’s it – you can start typing away!
The surface of the keys themselves are made up of a soft felt-like material which has a very nice feel to them when pressed. That being said, you should be able to type on this keyboard for long periods of time without any feelings of discomfort.
I loved this keyboard so much that I had to get one for myself. You can checkout the Amazon website here if you want to get your paws on one of these as well. You can also checkout my online YouTube video below where I review this keyboard in a bit more detail.
