Anyone familiar with NEO GEO games from the arcade days of the Nineties would recall the countless days of button mashing as we would squander our lunch money after school playing all of the popular Neo Geo titles like the King of Fighters and Shock Troopers. Well, today thanks to our friends at JXD we can now relive those days on the ever powerful 7 inch JXD S7800B Android powered gaming tablet.
The JXD S7800 B comes with a fully integrated gamepad which has all of the buttons and analogue joysticks that you would normally find on a PlayStation or XBOX gamepad.
The JXD S7800B was designed specifically with game emulation in mind and with that being said I want to show yo how you can start playing your favourite Neo Geo titles on your JXD S7800 B while you are on the bus heading to school or you are on the D Train heading to work in the Financial District in downtown Manhattan.
First off, you need to download the Neo Geo emulator from the Google Play Store. You then simply download your Neo Geo ROMs on an external microSD card and then insert that card into the memory slot that is located at the bottom of the device.
Next, you simply open the Neo Geo application and select the folder where your ROMs are stored. You can then go into the settings tab within the emulator to map the gamepad keys to those of the Neo Geo emulator system after which you should be presented with a list of all of your games which you can easily play by simply selecting them.
Now the JXD S7800B is now replaced by the GPD Q9 in the gaming tablet space, but no worries, because when comparing the specifications between both units they are generally the same.
Checkout my YouTube video below where I demonstrate some Neo Geo gameplay on the JXD S7800B. Enjoy!
