I recently bought the Motorola Nexus 6 Smartphone and I must say that I truly love this device because it is perfect for the Nexus 6 Case Wallet S. It is on par (and in many other respects even better than) Apples’s iPhone 6 Plus, but I digress as this post is about the Nexus 6 Case Wallet S from Spigen. You see one of the features of the Nexus 6 is that fact that it has a curved back which makes it impossible to fit in any of those standard third party flat cases and wallets that are on the market today.
So I found this neat little leather-looking case off of Amazon and got it delivered to me pretty much by the next business day (I love living in North America – lots of quick and free shipping!).
The packaging was neat and simple, an attractive orange and white box the size of a box of crayons held my little treasure. After opening the box, the black leather case was there in view, neatly packaged on a light plastic wrapping. After taking the Nexus 6 Case Wallet S out I was immediately amazed by the build quality, the hand stitching around the outer borders (I’m sure that it was stitched by a machine but the overall quality looks great anyway). The Spigen logo is seen etched on one corner of the wallet and even before opening it the case looks simple and impressive all at the same time.
The case also has been custom designed for the Nexus 6 with all of the holes ad openings in the right places so that you can still see the Motorola logo, camera lens, get access to the 3.5 mm audio jack and mini USB ports of the phone. The case also comes with external rubberized keys that extend the button functionality of the rocker volume key and power buttons on the phone.
When you open the case on the right hand side is the rubber shell, complete with the curved backing that hugs your Nexus 6 perfectly and protects the entire phone from scratches and the like. On the left hand side there are three slots for your credit cards, drivers license etc., and there also is a compartment to hold your hard earned cash. The case also has mini magnets on the outside that are designed to keep the closing flap in place when the case is in the closed position. The magnets are also designed to hold the two sides of the case together when it is fully opened when you want full access to the screen when reading, playing video games and the like.
The other feature is that the phone can be put into a 45 degree angle while in landscape mode so that you can watch your movies, read your favourite e-books or surf the Internet while the Nexus 6 Case Wallet S protects your investment.
One of the best features of this case, I must say, is the price. You can find that the MSRP for this is about $20. I found a better deal (50% off and retailing for just under ten bucks) in the Amazon link below if you are interested in getting one for yourself.
In summary, for the price, the look and feel and general aesthetics as well as the overall functionality I must say that this is definitely a great buy for your Nexus 6!
