Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon is a beat’em up fighting game that I have added to my list of highly recommended Android games. The game is rated “T” for Teen. You are Bruce Lee as you fight for justice and good and of course, you are one of the best martial artists of your generation and to be honest, of all time. Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon is an action-packed game where you pretty much just fight off hundreds and hundreds of bad guys.
Anyone familiar with Bruce Lee’s fighting style will recognize his fighting sound effects while he is in action. You can relive Bruce Lee’s fighting technique as he fights through hordes of second rate martial artists in this 2D action game.
There are no virtual buttons on the screen during game play which is normally pretty typical in many Android games. Instead, you use basic swipe gestures on the screen to initiate both high and low punches and kicks, including blocks, while you fight your enemies. Using your gesture controls you can also carry out combo moves which can destroy your enemies quite quickly when used just at the right times.
Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon comes with 40 high energy levels which has a huge boss that you have to defeat at the end of each one. This is one of those typical hero games where you fight through all of the evil minions and defeat huge bosses with the ultimate goal of saving your friends and loved ones as you progress through the game.
There is also something called Fury Mode where Bruce Lee becomes very angry, and as a result becomes very powerful and moves even faster, such that with the blink of an eye you are able to decimate enemies in mere seconds. There is also another mode called Endurance Mode where you can compete against others online to earn that top spot on the leaderboards.
There are also opportunities to get special power ups such as one called “Numbing Pain” where you can pretty much defeat your opponents with hardly any effort. There are also weapons Bruce Lee can use as well like the ever-famous nun chuck.
Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon requires an Android operating system version of at least 4.1 or higher. This game is rated T for teen and includes violence. There are also additional in-app purchases during gameplay where power-ups and weapons can be acquired. I think that because I have a soft spot for martial arts, I had to add Bruce Lee Enter The Dragon to my list of recommended Android Games.
Smash Cops Heat
Smash Cops Heat is a cool police chase video game that takes place in a city which looks very similar to somewhere in downtown Los Angeles. Anyone familiar with that famous OJ Simpson police chase live broadcast back in 1994 when he and a friend where seen driving down the freeway in that white Bronco with a dozen black and white police cars in close pursuit, would have a sense of Déjà Vu while playing his game.
This game is so popular that over 10 million players worldwide have played this game so far.
Smash Cops Heat takes action racing to a new level. While driving a police cruiser, the goal is to chase down and apprehend criminals who are trying to flee in some sort of high powered sports car or van. You win the police chase when their car is ultimately blown up and destroyed. The graphics are simply stunning and there is also nice sprite animation and vehicle physics during gameplay. You also get to drive around in a full 3D city environment with stunning 3D visuals.
The virtual controls are very easy to use and you can pretty much drive your car with just one finger. As with most action games you get access to power ups that can give your police cruiser more speed and handling capabilities. There are also various models that you can choose from as you progress through the game’s levels, ranging from the American muscle cars all the way to European exotic speedsters all painted in the black and white colors of the law.
Smash Cops Heat requires Android version 2.3 or higher and it is rated for everyone. They are also in-app purchases which are available within this Android game.
Shine Runner
If you liked the Dukes of Hazzard which was a really cool TV show in the 70s where Bo and Luke would occasionally run moonshine in that “01” marked orange high-powered Dodge Charger, while evading police, then you would definitely like to play shine Runner which is pretty much the same concept but on the water instead.
Shine Runner is rated “T for Teen”.
The 3D graphics as well as the water physics in this game are amazing and they rival that of most of the powerful home game consoles. Shine Runner is a game that you will most probably end up playing for hours. Based on the stunning 3D graphics alone I had to add this game to the list of highly recommended Android games.
As the Shine Runner, you pilot a high powered flat bottom fan boat as you speed your way through the Bayou. On either side there are many poor constructed wooden shacks, fishing boats and swamp wildlife like alligators that you can smash through while you transport your valuable cargo of moonshine at dangerously high speeds. In addition to running moonshine there is other hot contraband such as tobacco and snake oil. The more contraband that you successfully transport to its intended destination the more money you make.
Shine Runner was designed by a company called Vector Unit., also known for creating games like Riptide GP where you pretty much race hydro jets on water circuits.
Good news – now you can enjoy looking at the entire screen during gameplay because there is now full gamepad support. So Shine Runner can be played with a compatible Bluetooth or USB gamepad. This is another RedTechBot addition to the list of recommended Android games .
MMX Hill Climb
I had to add MMX Hill Climb to my list of recommended Android games simply because of the playability. It has very addictive monster truck physics that make it very fun game to play. The goal of this game is quite straightforward in that you simply race a truck uphill against other online players. Now, it may seem like a very simple task but you’re dead wrong. The monster truck physics coupled with the effects that huge bouncy tires have on your truck while racing along rolling hills, requires lots of skill. While trying to win the race against your opponent you have to make sure that your truck doesn’t topple over and explode.
Although the game is very simple to play, the graphics are pretty stunning and you have a wide array of vehicles to choose from as you progress through the various levels within the game.
You also get to upgrade your vehicle and there are tons of different tracks and courses that you get to race on. What I like about the game as well is the graphics quality of the rolling scenery as you race. MMX Hill Climb is a successor to another game called MMX Racing that is designed by a company called MyTouch Games who have developed other really nice looking Android games.
MMX Hill Climb requires Android version 4.1 or higher and it has a content rating of “E for Everyone”. As with most things today there’s also the option to make in-app purchases if you require immediate upgrades and access to other vehicles.
